Shooting Schedule
Production will be March 24th – April 7th, 2010.
For the River location, we’ll be travelling to Porterville, CA (3 hours North of Los Angeles) and will shoot on the Tule River.
For our Camp location, we will shoot inside Hansen Dam, a 3-square mile park in suburban Los Angeles, CA.
Which location we shoot first will greatly depend on the weather. Spring time in the Porterville area means that the snow melt from the Sierra Nevadas will fill flood the Tule river, and so we will need to time our production when the river’s water levels have decreased. Shooting at Hansen Dam requires less precise timing, and the grove of trees we will frame in our background will still look as if they exist in times of drought due to a fire which rampaged through the park two years ago.
